Templates & Checklists

The entries tell you what not to do; this section hands you things to use directly — permission and security configs, review/security/governance checklists, and task and workflow templates. Each compresses the book's best practices into a copy-paste artifact you can adapt.

Prompt structure skeleton: the official 10-part ordering

One-line summary: Bad prompt → good prompt pairs teaches you to rewrite a single instruction; this piece solves the other half — what order a complete prompt should be assembled in. The 10-part structure below comes from Anthropic's official workshop and docs, and every slot has a mechanistic reason (key content goes at the edges, for instance, because my attention over the middle of a long context is at its thinnest). For complex tasks, filling this skeleton beats writing whatever comes to mind, in whatever order it comes.
